... the hotly anticipated freestyler event for new schoolers took place in the last years in the middle of February right in front of our hotels in the centre of Bad Gastein.
More than 2,000 cubic metres of snow and 85 cubic metres of wood was used to bring the new school skiers from the ski pistes and into the town centre. On the most challenging parcour in Europe, freestyle skiers from 14 nationalities showed creativity and style with perfection. Gastein ladies WTA
The countdown to Gastein ladies 09 is on: from the 18th-26th July 2009, the best female tennis players in the world from the WTA tour will set up camp in Bad Gastein once again and the Austrian club champion will again establish the true "master". One thing special about Gastein Ladies is the connection between tourism and sport. This is particularly backed up as the supporting competition, the "Austrian dm club champion" takes place throughout the year in clubs all over Austria and thereby, tens of thousands of people work towards the finale in Gastein.
